The
Vinschgau begins behind Naturno. An ancient valley begins here, the
Schnalstal. Reinhold Messner's
Castle Juval towers high above its entrance.
Here in this historic place is our Hausalm, the
Lafetz Alm at 2015 m.
You climb leisurely from the village of Unser Frau in Schnals (1,500 m) to then to come to the Alm in several ways.
Either via the Mastauntal and the
Mastaun / Lafetz Pichl or directly path over a beautiful forest path or through the beautiful larch forest on path no.19
This pasture has been cultivated since Ötzi's time and in the background you can see the Ötzi's place of discovery, the
Tisenjoch.
